These terms and conditions (“the terms”) govern your use of the Smart Home Finance (“SHF”) website (the “website”). If you do not agree to all our terms and conditions on this page, please do not use the website. If you do use the website, your conduct indicates that you agree to be bound by the terms.

Unless otherwise specified the copyright in the contents of all pages on the site are owned or licensed to SHF.
Accordingly, no material from this site may be copied, uploaded, posted, modified or distributed in any way, except that you may download one copy of the materials on any single computer for your personal, home use only provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. 2.1 The information that We gather about Your personal and financial situation may be classed as “personal data” or “special category data” under the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and will be afforded the relevant protections as outlined in this Regulation.
2.2 By submitting your loan application to us you give us permission to;
b) Process your data and disclose Your information to relevant departments on your behalf and other organisations including credit reference agencies under the lawful processing condition of carrying out our contract under these terms therefore enabling Us to provide the Services to You;
2.3 With regards to Data Protection we agree to:
a) Promptly cease using, erase or rectify any inaccuracies of your Personal Data for any purpose or any complaint if you request us to do so in writing.
b) Restrict access to your Data only to employees who require to have it.
c) Use reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of correspondence and documents sent by email or fax in relation to your loan/loan application which include any personal data.
d) Hold Your information only for as long as is necessary to provide the Services or as long as required by law.
3) Credit Searches
To enable us to provide the Services you agree to us carrying out a full Credit Search and obtaining a Credit Report.
This will be a hard inquiry into your credit.
Please Note: A hard inquiry means We will take a full look at Your credit report (and score). This type of credit check leaves a mark on Your credit report, so whenever prospective lenders look at your credit report they can see you applied for credit (and whether you were accepted). Most hard searches stay on your report for 12 months

a) Who we are. We are Smart Home Finance, a trading style of Graham Abell who’s FCA registration number is 610472 and our registered office is 33 Newquay Close, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 1XN.
b) How to contact us. You can contact us by telephoning our customer service team at 01455 246 246 or by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
c) How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us.
d) “Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.
4.2 We may make changes to these terms if the rules and laws which govern the Services change, but if We do so We will notify You and tell You what the changes are. You may then contact Us to end the contract before the changes take effect if You do not agree to the changes. The changes will take effect 30 days after we send out notice to You telling You what the changes are unless, before expiry of that 30 day period, You tell Us that You wish to cancel the contract because the changes are not acceptable to You.
4.3 Use of Our website
b) If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.
c) We recommend that you print a copy of these terms for future reference.
d) We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
